Booking a session
In a first phone call, please tell me briefly about the challenges you are facing in life and why you are seeking help. We can then book an assessment session where we will map out your life situation and discuss how CBT could help you to reach your goals. If it feels right for both you and me, we can then book more sessions.
My ambition is to help you as effectively and quickly as possible so that you can move forward on your own. I always provide different kinds of work materials and websites and recommend self-help books that I think are helpful.
I do not offer treatment for acute emergencies. In the event of psychological emergencies or suicidal crises, please contact the psychiatric emergency service immediately.
As a privat person: 1250 SEK
as a company or employer: 1400 SEK
If you wish to meet on site, my private practice is located at Söderkliniken, Fiskaregatan 15 in Halmstad.
If you prefer to meet online, or alternate on site and online sessions, this is also an option.

Please note that I do not have a contract with the Swedish Health Care system which means all sessions are paid for privately. In some cases employers are willing to pay for psychotherapy or crisis interventions.
I have the following contracts:

After my psychology studies, I have been interested in learning more about different areas of CBT. I studied a three years psychotherapy programme in Gothenburg to become licenced psychotherapist in CBT. For several years I have been a member of the board of the Swedish Association for CBT and the association’s representative in the European Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Therapies. I have participated in many Swedish and international CBT congresses to keep up to date on the latest research in CBT and participated in many workshops that convey practical skills e.g. on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Metacognitive Therapy, Mindfulness and Self Compassion, Mindful Parenting, perfectionism, exposure therapy etc. After concluding a one and a half years programme I became supervisor in CBT and have been supervising both students learning CBT and professional therapists at psychiatry and health care centres.
I grew up in Poland and Germany and was always interested in other languages and countries. Here are my major international experiences:
- Psychology Master Programme at the University Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany
- One semester Psychology (Erasmus) at the University in Cádiz, Spain
- One semester Psychology (Erasmus) at the University in Prague, Czech Republic
- Two Semesters (Psychology, Swedish language course) at the University in Gothenburg, Sweden
- Internship at the World Health Organisation in Copenhagen, Denmark
- Internship at the GfK – Market Research Institute in Nürnberg, Germany
- “Civil Service Abroad” at the Community of Taizé, France
- High school, one year exchange programme in USA
I benefit from my international experiences when I work with clients from different countries and with various cultural backgrounds. At the university of Lund I supervise students learning CBT at the Master programme of psychology. I also supervise international psychologist who moved to Sweden and have to complete CBT (among other courses) in order to become licenced psychologists in Sweden.
For more information about CBT please consult the website of the British Association for CBT.
